There is something special about experiencing the desert in a different kind of light.

Photographed during a trip to Death Valley, this image captures the dunes under a soft, atmospheric sky. It was the first time I had experienced rain while hiking through the dunes, and the landscape felt entirely different from the one I had come to know.

I'm accustomed to the long, winding shadows and deep textures that define the dunes in strong sunlight. But there is a quieter beauty in the softness of the desert, where subtle tonal shifts, muted colors, and delicate contours take center stage.

Sometimes, seeing a familiar place in an unfamiliar way is the most rewarding part of returning.

  • Printed on Moab Entrada Bright Rag, a premium 100% cotton fine art paper with a smooth matte surface and bright white finish. At 290 GSM, this substantial paper beautifully reproduces rich color, subtle tonal transitions, and exceptional detail.

    Each photograph is produced in Northern California using premium archival inks and high-resolution large-format inkjet printing. Your artwork is never shipped directly from the print lab. Each piece makes its way to my studio first, where I personally inspect it and carefully prepare it for its new home.

  • Framing Options

    Available unframed or professionally framed in your choice of three finishes: black, white, or natural wood.

    A little framing should never be the reason you talk yourself out of owning a piece of art. I've kept the framed option thoughtfully priced to make bringing a finished piece home as easy as possible.

    Each frame is crafted from solid natural wood and features a 0.75-inch face and 1.375-inch depth. Framed prints are finished with clear protective acrylic glazing.

    The framed artwork measures approximately 13 × 16 inches.

  • Looking for a different size, frame style, or specialty glass? Custom orders are welcome. Please get in touch to discuss available options.

  • Each artwork is printed to order, specifically for your purchase. For this reason, all sales are final, and we do not accept returns or exchanges.

    In the unlikely event that your artwork arrives damaged or has a production defect, please contact us with photographs of the issue. We'll work with you to arrange an appropriate replacement.

  • Shipping & Delivery

    Each print is made to order, with care taken at every step. Once your artwork is printed, it is sent to my studio for personal inspection before making its way to you.

    Please allow a minimum of 2 weeks for production, inspection, and delivery. This timeframe is an estimate, and occasional delays in production or shipping may occur.
