An afternoon of hiking in a remote part of Death Valley lead me to one of the most special sunsets I have experienced. The dunes hold a special place in my heart. They are soft and feminine, you can see tiny footprints and other signs of life, yet they some how feel desolate and overlooked. I think that’s why I relate to them.
